I used to use the Ultra Floss because I have a dental implant. It was excellent! Now I can only get Super Floss and it is a colossal waste of money. The spongy part is too short and too thin to do much cleaning. The regular floss part is so thick and so stiff that I can't use it at all on my other teeth. I even tried soaking the floss to try to soften it up, but it didn't help at all. Please reconsider bringing back the Ultra Floss!!

For what you're getting....its a good buy. it's cheap and comes with a lot of floss. Threading it through my braces is easy but I cant get it between my teeth. Not sure why but regular string floss and a threader works. I'm probably the only one who has this issue tho.

There is nothing like the Oral-B Deep Clean Ultra that came in the white plastic container with a spool of floss inside. I purchased 50 of them because I was afraid that they'd be discontinued and sure enough they were. This Super Floss product cannot compete with the older product my family adored. That Satin floss is a waste of money, it is so slippery and doesn't really clean deeply. Why discontinue a wonderful product? Oral-B should have made an entire spool of the cotton-stretchy floss also because it was an incredible product and gentle on the gums. All other flosses can't hold a candle to that product so, I'll never understand changing it.

I'm guessing this was never a big seller for Oral-B, as I have, for years, had to go out of my way to get it at a store I otherwise didn't shop at. It was worth it. I've given the new, pre-cut strands a fair trial, but my frustration only grows and I won't buy this again. I read the box and understand, I think, what they were aiming for, and it made sense on paper, but, in trying to be all things to all people, they've made a useless mess of this product. I don't object to the stiffened end to facilitate use with orthodontic hardware, but dividing the strand into a tiny spongy section and a great length of regular floss is completely out of touch with reality. It's a headache keeping that tiny spongy section where I need it as I move around my mouth, re-adjusting, and even with all the extra effort I'm just not getting the same results that I got with the old product. I kept telling myself it was just me and it would be fine once I got used to it, but that hasn't been the case. I would, for the record, happily go back to the old product if it were offered again, but I'm done torturing myself with this.
