Why don't people like these? I'm confused, seriously. Wait for the click and they are smooth, small, and very colorful and nice. My friend gave me one to try and I prefer them over the Pearl I buy now. I'm switching to these. They are great.

Hello I’m so sorry that you are having difficulty with the applicator on the Tampax Pocket Pearl. Positioning the tampon shouldn’t be difficult for you. It may help to know that this applicator needs to be extended before insertion. Pull the end of the thinner inner tube out until it “clicks” and locks into place with the transparent inner tube. (If the two inner tubes cannot be pushed into each other again, it's ready to use.) Once extended, insert as you would a regular, full-sized tampon with an applicator. If you would like to give us additional feedback, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly at (800)523-0014. Shelly

Hello Anika Thanks for your recent review of the Tampax Pocket Pearl tampons. We appreciate it. I'm so sorry that you are having difficulty removing the applicator of the Tampax Pocket Pearl after insertion. Using the right absorbency for your flow should provide 4 to 8 hours protection, so I'm sorry you to hear you experienced leakage. We know how frustrating that can be and have some tips we hope will help prevent it from happening again. It’s always important to choose the lowest tampon absorbency necessary for your menstrual flow. With that said, using a lower-absorbency tampon for a heavy flow may fill the tampon up quickly and, if not changed soon enough, may result in leakage. Sometimes, heavy clotting may coat the tampon and prevent thinner blood from being absorbed. In both cases, using a higher-absorbency tampon is recommended. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call at (855) 236-3353.

Hi Shannon. Unfortunately we no longer manufacture the Tamapx Compak Pearl. I realize it is very frustrating when a company stops producing one of your favorite products. I want to assure you that your comments are very important to us and they will be shared with the appropriate management. I am sorry to hear you had a problem with the applicators on the Tampax Pocket Pearl tampons. One tip is to be sure the applicator is fully extended and you hear the click before using it. Once it is extended, it’s inserted just like a full size tampon. What you experienced from multiple tampons is not the quality we would expect from our products and I can certainly understand how frustrating that must have been for you. We always want our Tampons to work the way they should so we're sorry to hear about your recent Pocket Pearl experience. We do want to let you know that we introduced Tampax Compak Pearl to address the number-one concern among women using compact tampons which was not having enough leak protection. This is why we added the built-in backup braid designed to help stop leaks by sending fluid back into the core. Compak Pearl was designed to offer the same protection as a full size tampon but in the new design the applicator is much smaller and needs to work slightly differently. We know from our consumers that using Compak Pearl isn’t always as easy as it should be and this has resulted in some questions and comments. Our quality team has spoken with women in depth, so we can better understand what they’re experiencing. We already have a design team in place working to improve the applicator. Please give us a call at (800) 523-0014 so we can help ensure that your next time of the month is stress-free with us.

Hello Thanks for you recent review of the Tampax Pocket Pearl. We appreciate it. I’m so sorry that you are having difficulty with the applicator on the Tampax Pocket Pearl.

The applicator on the Pocket Pearl is meant to be fully extended prior to insertion, pull the end of the thinner inner tube until it clicks, then it should be able to be inserted and removed just as a full size applicator. We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with you about this purchase. You are welcome to give us a call at (800)523-0014, we hope you would give us a second chance to make this right. Shelly

Thank you for taking the time to review the Tampax Pocket Pearl tampons. I am very sorry you were disappointed with the quality of the applicators and that only 2 out of 5 applicators worked. That is not the quality we would expect from our products. The best way to get the applicator to work is to pull the tubes apart until you hear a click, after that it then functions as a full size applicator would. If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us at (800) 523-0014 to speak with one of our agents. Our hours are 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday. We look forward to speaking with you.

I am sorry that your recent purchase of the Tampax Pocket Pearl was disappointing. We try to create and develop products that will continually delight our consumers. The braid on the tampon is meant to channel the leaks back up into the core, thus improving absorbency. We’d expect our tampons to provide 4 to 8 hours of protection, if they seem to be leaking before 8 hours, you might want to try the next level of absorbency. If you would like to give us additional feedback, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly at (800)523-0014.

If you would like to discuss this further, please contact us at (800) 523-0014 to speak with one of our agents. Our hours are 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday. We look forward to speaking with you.

Shelly

I am sorry that your recent purchase of the Tampax Pocket Pearl was disappointing. We try to create and develop products that will continually delight our consumers.

We appreciate your review of the Tampax Pocket Pearl. I am sorry you had a problem with the applicator not being secure enough to insert the tampon. The key to getting the applicator to work is pulling the tubes apart until you hear a click, after that it then functions as a full size applicator would.
